Our Story
We created Spender out of necessity to break overspending habits and add more visibility to spending power based on future recurring transactions. One of our co-founders, Carver, was tired of living paycheck to paycheck and spending money on things that weren’t needed or he couldn’t actually afford. Late payments and overdrafts kept adding up and the feeling of never getting ahead grew over time. “The reality of the situation sucks. Saving is a burden and overwhelming to me so I wanted to focus on creating a way to still be able to spend but do it with more visibility.” This was when Spender was created. We want to offer the same visibility into your spendability.
